Experience Summary
As an honors graduate, from SNC, I've always kept an open-mind, and creative perspective on ideas/methods of teaching and learning. I've earned my AA, BA, and Nv.Elementary Licensure for grades K-8 as of 2004. During the last decade I have been in the classroom as a student, and a teacher/tutor and my philosophy is to teach through the avenue/intelligence my students comprehend best,therefore their understanding of concepts and ideas become concrete so they can retain this information/knowlege and utilize it for further learning opportunities and experiences.
Teaching Style
Teaching and working with children is what I've always wanted to do-since I was 7 years old-I knew in my heart and soul-I would be a teacher! All children/students are intelligent and smart, in their own unique ways. I am kind, patient, courteous, ambitious, creative, and open-minded with a great imagination for creative teaching & learning. My students' learn from me while I also learn from them simultaneously-that's what makes our educational experience a constructive, creative, positive environment and experience.
