Experience Summary
Holding a Master’s Degree in Literacy across the Content Areas, I truly believe that that every human being should have the right and opportunity to be able to read. In my years as a writer of curriculum and as an academic trainer, I have worked diligently to embed literacy strategies in every professional learning experience I create and present. In my most recent position as an ACP Supervisor, I coach and train teachers daily to assist them in improving their teaching practice.
Teaching Style
I am passionate about literacy! I believe that everyone has a different learning style and requires a teacher/tutor who can be flexible and adapt to his/her learning style. My goal as a teacher is to create lifelong learners who enjoy learning through a variety of hands-0n activites. Learning is fun and occurs through discovery and problem-solving.My job is to facilitate the learning process and allow the student to take control of his or her own learning.
