Experience Summary
I have been volunteering in my kids' Elementary school for four years.I am a substitute teacher with Brevard Public Schools and have more than 200 hours of substituting mainly in Elementary level. I was Preschool teacher back home in Jordan 1998.Arabic is my first language and fluent in English.My academic background is Science/Biology,I earned my Bachelor Degree in 1997.In the process to earn my Professional Teaching Certificate from Florida Department of Education as I completed so far all the courses of Educator Preparation Institute (EPI) program at Brevard Community College.
Teaching Style
I have learned valuable strategies in teaching methods when I completed the EPI program in BCC;for instance:I can help the students at risk whom they may fail in education.I am aware of the achievement gaps and I know the ways how to contribute in minimizing them and help the student to understand that the nature of intelligence get strengthened with hard work.
I realize that students have different abilities in learning and I know the best strategies to and fulfill students diverse needs to overcome their difficulties in learning.I have valuable materials provided by my EPI instructors such as:instructional strategies, Criss strategies, Bloom’s Taxonomy strategies, and more that will help students learn more effectively.
