Experience Summary
Over the last nine years I have pushed myself to succeed in academics. In 2010 I graduated with my masters degree in biology. During this time, I gained a strong understanding in many areas of science and math. I have experience writing research papers, laboratory reports, abstracts, grants, and oral and poster presentations. I have mentored students of all ages in science and statistics.
Teaching Style
In order for students to retain what they learn, I beleive that academics should be interesting and applicable to real life. I also understand that not all students learn alike. Mentoring students in sports and academics has enabled me to adjust to the learning style of the individual. I am compassionate and dedicated to the needs of the student and understand that learning can be frustrating at times. I can help students succeed in academics, offer them encouragement, and jump start their futures.
