Experience Summary
Being a high school dual-enrolled college student and successfully graduating Summa Cum Laude with my Bachelor’s of Science in Biochemistry from East Carolina University in only three years demonstrates my passion for a higher education. I have been a tutor to my peers in collegiate level classes, as well as a mentor for my 13-year-old sister. I have an extensive Science and Mathematics background as well as a strong passion towards English. Having won many state Math and Science fairs since I was in third grade laid down a strong platform towards efficient study skills and learning styles that enabled me to excel in my educational endeavors.
Teaching Style
I love being able to spread my knowledge to aid in one's understandings of a subject. I believe there are countless variations in the way one learns a particular subject. Furthermore, each individual must find the way he or she learns best to master their educational endeavors. Having attempted most every way to discover my particular “successful study habits”, I am dedicated to helping each child discover his or her own way. Being only 22, I can connect with children and teens to promote a comfortable environment that is beneficial to the mastering of a subject. Regardless of one’s background, I believe each child can truly excel. I look forward to helping your child succeed in the classroom while building their confidence.
