Experience Summary
I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Languages and Cultures with an emphashis on French at Washington State University. At the same institution, I was a volunteer tutor. Between August 2007 and May 2009 I was a tutor for individuals getting their High school diplomas. I volunteered to tutor at the High School Equivalency Program(HEP) at Washington State University. In the program I tutored 20 Mexican/Mexican American students in various subjects including: math, science, and English. I also provided guidance and preparation for the GED exam and problem translation from English to Spanish.
Teaching Style
I really believe that everyone has their own learning style. As a Psychology major, I understand and adapt to all learning preferences, whether it be visual, auditory or tactile and provide the best tools and strategies for learning. I am very patient and easygoing but believe that everyone can achieve great things given the right tools and resources.
