Experience Summary
As I recent college graduate, I spent my four years gaining knowledge, as well as learning different teaching techniques. I worked at the Boys and Girls Club at the local middle school for my entire four years of college. Monday through Friday, I tutored elementary and middle school students in math, english, and health.
Teaching Style
I enjoy working with young children, and helping them to understand the subject and how to apply it in their daily life. My overall goal is to help the child understand for their own good. It defeats the purpose if the child can do math or english while I am sitting right next to them. I want them to be able to retain the knowledge so when they are at school they can remember what they learned and apply it on their own.
