Experience Summary
I am currently a grad student at CSU-Fresno studying for a master’s degree in biotechnology. My undergraduate was in biomedical science with math and chemistry minors. I have over one year’s experience tutoring at a professional tutoring center. I am also a TA (teaching assistant) at CSF-Fresno, where I assist in the labs for an introduction to biology class.
Teaching Style
My teaching/tutoring style is helping the student understand the problem and assisting them towards the answer without trying to give them the answer. I also adapt to try to find more than one way to approach and/or solve the problem the student is having difficulty on. I want them to understand more the concept behind the question rather than getting a participle question right. I am patient, easy going, and considerate. My goal is to provide the best education possible.
