Experience Summary
My undergraduate education at Oberlin College has exposed me to a wide range of academic fields, including philosophy, religion, literature, psychology, physics, history, and economics. I have tutored elementary, middle, and high school students in reading, writing, math, and music theory for the past five years. Additionally, I have had experience teaching large classes of students in India and Ghana with an organization called Cross-Cultural Solutions.
Teaching Style
I have a passion for helping students of all ages and levels to comprehend academic concepts and issues. In particular, I find the one-on-one setting beneficial for my specific teaching qualities. I highly value the focus on the exchange of ideas and questions that private tutoring allows for. Additionally, I find satisfaction in the student's understanding of the material through a combination of personal investigation and my educational assistance. At the same time as I believe in rigorous discipline, I also strive to provide my students with an environment that is relaxed and stress-free.
