After obtaining my B.S. in Biology from The Ohio State University, I became an early childhood education teacher, completing several certifications. Afterwards, I relocated and accepted a position as a junior high school algebra and geometry night school teacher. I also worked as a SAT prep instructor. After program closure, I worked 5 yrs as a contract microbiologist for Procter & Gamble.
Teaching Style
Despite my lack of certification, I have always enjoyed working with children. I truly believe that a childs learning output is a reflection of the teachers in his/her life, whether parents, school teachers, or family. I am patient and having such a diverse background in the math and sciences makes it easy to teach through different approaches to convey information to students. Teaching a child is fun, but watching them learn is priceless. I've never had more of a rewarding job.
