Experience Summary
I currently instruct medical billing and coding classes. I have just started and I realized how much I love this. Even when I complete my own BA in Healthcare Management, this is truly my desire to teach. I have several different course studies that will help me tutor individuals or even groups. My level of complete knowledge is infamous and as you see I continue to keep my self Educated as an adult I know one can never know too much. However, all of my knowledge in work & school will help me tutor in several different areas.
Teaching Style
While in High school I was in a program called Future Educators of America. I taught Emotional Handicapped Children by choice and I use what I have learned back then to teach today. I have 3 small children myself so I do enjoy teaching them new things and helping them further understand the concept more. Sometimes I use an example something they are familiar with, something that I know will grab their attention, then it does not even feel like learning. With me, the majority of learning is focused around being fun & creative where others are more in tuned to the reality of it as we all know this is how life is so I help them learn life skills as well. However I do utilize the importance of their involvement.
