Experience Summary
Although my undergrad degree is not the most prevailing, I have strong abilities in math. I have tutored many individuals throughout my life. My experience is approximately a year and a half. I have tutored elementary and middle school level math and science as a private tutor with great appreciation and prevalence of achieving goals for my students. My BA degree required math skills in statistics I and II. I also did exceptional on my SAT, GRE, and IB Math scores. My undergrad course work has given me an upper hand in constructing concepts when forming research papers as well as producing correct grammar and structure throughout my writing.
Teaching Style
Teaching is important to every individual no matter what age. The learning experience is never-ending. Children are very important to me as they are the future. Also if it weren't for my wonderful teachers I would have hated the academic process. It is important to note that no matter how far a student is behind nor how hard it is to recognize concepts I am beyond patient when explaining ideas and concepts. The personal approach is the most formative for an individual. When teaching elementary students it is important to in a stress free quiet environment where a student can be open to asking questions. I would identify specific students needs and formulate a stimulating and constructive approach to ensure their capabilities as students.
