I've taught software, medical microbiology, reading, dog training, and am currently tutoring girls through Girls Start and other children as a private tutor. I work with children who are in first through third grade improve their math, reading, and writing skills. Every job that I have ever had has involved teaching people one on one. I'm very talented at understanding what each individual needs to effectively learn, and I absolutely love to teach people. I am a positive, firm, creative teacher who is results oriented. I enjoy the challenge of teaching a variety of individuals with different learning styles. I am very patient and kind while still pushing my students to do their best. I find helping children get a good start in school can make a huge difference in the rest of their education experience.
