Experience Summary
Presently, I am a part time adjunct instructor.
As a superintendent and principal, I have observed 100’s of classrooms, and being around the best of teachers, I have a pretty good foundation of what good teaching is about. Rasmussen managers and students have also given me wonderful evaluations. It is so important that students are listened to, and it is also vital that classes are dynamic and interesting.
Most years of my career was spent in elementary teaching, and in many of those years I served as a tutor. I was also a tutor at Rasmussen College. I have tutored and taught classes in both the special needs and gifted areas.
Teaching Style
I have a lot of patience, especially patience to help students by carefully showing them their mistakes. Students learn best by listening and correcting errors -getting the correct result. Learning by doing and discovery fit into this scenario.
