Experience Summary
Born in France from a Spanish mother provided me with a double gift to speak, write, and read two languages fluently. Long ago, I have also developed the desire to share my gifts to others. While completing my MBA degree, I have tutored French to 5 elementary school students for over a year. I developed a passion for business and marketing. I have earned an Associate degree in Marketing from Nice, France. A BS in Marketing and a MBA from Winthrop University, one of the top 15 business schools in the nation. I have gathered 7 years of learning Business and Marketing practices in the classroom as well as various internships. I am now fully utilizing the business and marketing skills for my newly opened retail store.
Teaching Style
I love to be around children. There is no surprise I recently opened a toy store focused on classic and educational toys. I am passionate about teaching children and how to make a difference in their lives. I strongly believe that if a child can experience for him or herself how the skills he or she learns apply in real life, then it becomes an easier, and more successful experience. I will push for a dynamic and interactive class. The lesson needs to be constructive. I always give examples, and engage the child or children to practice the skill in a specific setting like role play. I also believe that any lesson regardless of the subject is always a good time to enhance other skills that the child might be lacking.
