Experience Summary
I have taught both adults and youth. I was instrumental in assisting adults in obtaining their high school diploma and college degree. As a youth teacher, I was responsible for teaching students to read and as a result of their improving in this area; I was promoted to a teacher’s position.
I have tutored students on an individual basis, and a result they were able to be promoted to the next grade.
Teaching Style
My style of teaching is more of a participant style. I enjoy when students contribute to class discussions. It brings joy to my heart when a child finds a task complicated and eventually succeeds. Many of the children that I have taught often call me. It is my belief, that as an educator I must be creative and see each child as an individual and not as a group. As an educator, I am responsible for not only teaching students but for coaching, mentoring, tutoring and inspiring young minds to achieve greatness.
