Experience Summary
For the last 20 years I have been in Sales & Marketing for various large companies (additional detal available upon request). In many of my positions, I have been selected to conduct training within the organization on business specific tools plus sales skills
For the last 5+ years I have mentored a young man through Big Brothers / Big Sisters.
In college, I was selected as a Writing Tutor in the university Writing Workshop. I advised undergraduate and graduate students on writing style, grammar and other aspects of their written work. I still maintain it as one of the best jobs I have had.
Teaching Style
It is important for me to help students understand through real world examples. I do my best to develop training material and a learning environment that is relatable to their ultimate application. Much of the training I do requires initial "buy-in" ... if a student does not believe what they are learning will have application and benefit for them, they will not be open to learn. I try very hard to build this confidence up-front.
