Experience Summary
I taught Art for grade levels from 1st through 12th grade for a private school for 3 years. Due to the economy unfortunately our school had to remove the art & p.e. program. I love working with children, and our young adults. I believe art to be a subject matter that should not be left out, as it helps our children grow in other academic areas. When we alow our children to be involved with art we are teaching them to think outside the box, and become a more well rounded person. This in turn teaches them to think more openly about thier other subjects, and develope a brodder understanding of problem solving. I have also tutored in math for elementary, and Algebra for Jr. High and High School students.
Teaching Style
I believe that there is no one set way to teach a child. We are all different therefore we must teach according to how our children respond. This allows our children to become more confident and less frustrated. This allows them to learn in an enviroment in which they thrive, learn, and grow
