Experience Summary
Although I have not taught in the last 2 years, I have been teaching since 1997; I love teaching and I have taught people from all walks of life and students from grades 5-12, college as well as graduate students. I have also taught a variety of subjects, including math and sciences. I have excellent communication skills, have 6+ years experience as teacher, and am able to get along and work well with others. Also, I am very punctual, dependable and flexible. Other skills include: Computer Knowledge (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Proficient in Internet); and I speak three languages: English, Creole, and French.
Teaching Style
From my many years of teaching experience, I have adopted a few different teaching styles due to the fact that every student learns differently. For instance, some students are very slow learners and some aren't, obviously; and so I may use a different approach based on the student(s) or class I happen to be teaching at the time. I am very flexible when it comes to teaching, and I like to get feedback from my students from time to time, making sure that it's working and they are learning the material like they are supposed to. I am very passionate, very patient and very good when it comes to teaching. I also would like to think that I am a very good teacher, at least that's what I have been told in the past by many of my students.
