Experience Summary
As a graduate student at the University of Alabama I instructed 3 college level physical geography laboratory sections per semester. This experience sharpened my communication skills and provided a valuable new perspective on the learning process. I was also employed as a tutor for the University's Athletic Department.
Teaching Style
My teaching style follows my personality. I am a hard worker, therefore I expect hard work in return from my students. I have always been described as one who explains concepts in a manner that is easy to understand, and I feel that this is a result of utilizing the "common sense" approach to problem solving. Being from the Union Springs area, I am very interested in helping the local children succeed in school and be positive contributors to their environment.
