Experience Summary
I am a teacher of great experience. Having taught in the private and public schools, I have been given opportunities to work with a variety of achievers - from handicapped to gifted. I have tutored in all academic subjects except higher high school and have an amount of expertise in the reading area. I have a B.S. in education from Union College in Barbourville, KY, and a M.A. as a reading specialist from Cumberland College in Williamsburg, KY.
Teaching Style
I enjoy teaching and working with children. I do believe that all children can learn - some differently than others. I try my best to be patient, easygoing, and encouraging. My goal is to open a child's world to new adventures, possibilities, and opportunities. It is exciting to see a child learn and discover new ideas or ways of processing information. A good educator provides discipline and can make a difference in a person's education. I believe I make a difference of the lives of my students.
