Experience Summary
I graduated in 2004 form Portland State University with a Social Sciene degree. I have been in teaching since 2008 when I passed my substitute teachers class. Since that time I subbed off and on until January 2010 when I got a long term assignment In the ALC at Hilo High School. I thought English, Math and really learned a lot through my experience. I am still currently a substitute teacher. I also deal with children when I volunteer coaching T-ball for Lincoln Wreckers since 2009.
Teaching Style
I like to think of my style as a very patient style which allows me to get to know my students. I believe everyone can learn if they want to so finding there motivatin is part of the process. I am a believer that hard work and persistence will get you what you want in life. My goal is to provide instruction which the students can understand and benefit the most from. I am very flexible so if one style is not working we will find one that does.
