Experience Summary
Throughout my college training I have worked one on one with students in all areas of study. I have tutored elementary students in spelling, grammar, writing, reading, and math. I substitute taught last year for the Clark County school district, and currently I am substitute teaching on call for the Post Falls School District. I am passionate about showing students that they can do anything they set their mind to.
Teaching Style
I believe that each child needs a secure and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. The teacher's role is to guide, providing access to information rather than acting as the primary source of information. I am aware of the different learning styles and needs and it is important to differentiate instruction to meet all students needs. I feel there is a need for compassionate, strong, and dedicated teachers who are excited about working with children. I am such a person and will always strive to be the best educator that I can be.
