Experience Summary
I am very passionate about helping children learn, and to be a mentor for them. I have three years of experience in tutoring children part time and as a volunteer. I have tutored in the areas of math, history, and science. I will obtain my Bachelors in May 2011.
Teaching Style
I have tutored children in groups and one on one. I enjoy both. However I really enjoy one on one because I feel like I can help a struggling student that my not have the confidence to ask questions in a group. One on one sessions also allow students to express concern about other issues other than academic areas. I believe that If I can increase the confidence in each child, there can be more children striving to do their best academically
