Experience Summary
I believe that the level of education of the children will determine the future of its nation and I would like to be a part of making it a successful one even if it takes one child at a time. Education does not only lead to success but allows the mind and life to expand its horizons. My passion is helping others. Although my degree is Mathematics, my experiences are spread across different fields. I am a singer, dancer, actress, athlete, events/wedding coordinator, church/youth coordinator, and have volunteered for several charity events. During the past 12 years I have worked for AAA Admin to Analyst. I have tutored students in Math (to early college level) and Vocals. I have also helped my family run a successful business (local store).
Teaching Style
I have been a Youth Coordinator for 10yrs and have worked with children all my life. Through these experiences I have learned the different personalities, character, and learning styles of people of all ages. I try to find ways that would be most effective for each student by getting to know their interest, lifestyle, culture, and environment, and use illustrations, analogies that would be familiar to them. I’m down to earth and easy going but find a balance in order to achieve by working hard with my students by helping them enjoy what we’re learning. I love encouraging people and helping them see their strengths and worth. It is my goal in life to show people how valuable, capable, and skillful they really are or can be.
