Experience Summary
As a graduate of a prestigious University, I was challenged to get into the competitive program and motivated to earn a bachelors degree in the field of Graphic Design. I have always had a passion for art and literature. I have always excelled at writing and pushed myself to obtain a Minor in English. This greatly improved my grammatical skills, vocabulary, and time management skills. During the last seven years I have tutored students and peers in English. I have plans to attend college to obtain a MAT in the future in the hopes to become an English or History teacher.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and am passionate about literature and art. I believe that all children have the ability to learn, and it's a teacher's responsibility to engage each student in the subject matter. I am patient, organized, and caring. My goal is to provide a constructive learning environment and have fun with the subject matter. I was motivated at an early age by an inspiring teacher to do my very best at my schoolwork. She had the ability to encourage her students through fun learning activities and confidence building. I aim to channel that memory and truly make a difference in my students' lives. I believe that there are never weaknesses in students, just challenges.
