Experience Summary
Besides my background having a four year degree (Management) from UNC-Asheville, my bilingual capabilities have taken me a long way since I have picked up a second language. My minor in Spanish helped me along the way in order to effectively serve those who need the help. I have worked with many Hispanics in the area and look to extend a helping hand where needed. I am passionate about helping others and hope my extroverted personality will allow me to help another student in his/her path. I work very well with kids and love it! Living abroad in Mexico really opened my eyes to the world and helping individuals is one of the most important things that I can do in this world.
Teaching Style
Teaching can be a very powerful tool used when dealing with kids. Kids are a very delicate case when administering new information that they are needed to process/learn. My goal is to make that as less-painful as possible and to make it a enjoyable experience also. Patience is key with my teaching style and I also do not see a problem with making learning a fun thing for kids. My previous experience working with Telamon Migrant Head Start program allowed me to show my abilities and skills in the classroom and the output that was received was incredible. I look to better each individual I come in contact with, guaranteed.
