Experience Summary
I have been a tutor since my freshman year in college, when I fell in love with teaching. I have earned two bachelor degrees, BA in Spanish and BA in Journalism. This allows me a great understanding of both Spanish and English Grammar. I affluent in editing and revising, as well as conversation and grammar practices. Over the past couple of years I have specialized in tutoring Students for Spanish AP exams, SATS, and general grade improval.
Teaching Style
I believe that being truly successful as a teacher requires patience and understanding, My greatest success has come from targeting individual issues and trouble spots. Working on these areas first, while cementing general principles for a subject. Most often pupils get stuck on a problem, that will hinder their success later. Being constructive and firm with your students creates respect and results, while at the same time being compassionate and open encourages questions and confidence. These skills allow me to relate well to my pupils and be a successful educator.
