Experience Summary
I had a specialized teaching credential associated with my Nursing license and taught at the Junior College level in that field. I retired from Nursing in 2006 and gave up my license as well as the credential.I taught for four years out of Quincy, Ca.
Teaching Style
Making lessons interesting I feel is key to retaining student interest. Using real life and practical examples are an efective means of getting a point accross. Encouraging student participation and using clues to prompt the student to use reasoning will allow the student to be able to solve problems, sometimes in areas where the student has no experience. If problems arise I make myself available for guidance to sucess.
