Experience Summary
I am retiring from Hoffmann-La Roche after 27 years of service practicing organic chemistry. During my Ph.D., I was a teaching assistant at Quuens College, The city University of New York. My responsibilties there were helping students with problems (recitations) and laboratories in general and organic chemistry. I have also been adjunct lecturer at Bloomfield college. My responsibilty their was teaching chemistry to a nursing class. I have also covered my friend's teaching responsibilty at Montclair State University. Have also done one on one private tutoring on college campus.
Teaching Style
A smaller class or individual one on one tutoring. Help students so they are at ease asking questions and get involve. The more questions they ask, the better the results are. It is important they make the best use of their time.
