Experience Summary
I received my Bachelor's of Science in Genetic Engineering, with a concentration in Forensic Science, and a minor in Mathematics. I am currently working on my Master's of Science in Biology. My diverse education has provided me with a wide range of knowledge in chemistry, biology, and mathematics. I was an America Reads America Counts tutor for K-12 students from 2005-2009 and I have been working as a graduate assistant in introductory biology courses since January 2010.
Teaching Style
I have experience tutoring or teaching all ages from elementary school to college. I understand that all students learn in various ways and I try to find the way that works best for each individual. I believe in making education interesting and try to bring a new spin to every subject. I strive to help every student gain confidence in their abilities and to reach their highest potential. I am very patient, understanding, a good listener, and supportive.
