Experience Summary
I recently graduated from the top aeronautical school in the country with a BS in Aerospace Engineering, minors in Mathematics and Science, and a Masters of Aeronautical Science with concentrations in Aviation Safety Systems and Space Studies. I have a strong background in math and have experience with research. I have experience writing and reviewing technical, creative, and instructional papers as well as peer reviewing essays. In 2009 I mentored with the SOAR High program, a program that targets at-risk Lawrence High School freshmen. Since August 2010, I have been mentoring an 8th grade girl through the Stand & Deliver Program.
Teaching Style
I am and always have been pro-education. I understand that everyone learns and understands things differently and tutoring should be tailored to each individual's needs. I like to first see how a student works, what their processes are and what areas they struggle in so that I can best determine how to accommodate them.
