Experience Summary
Even as a child, I dreamed of being a teacher of students with learning challenges. This goal was realized when I became a teacher. I have earned my BS and MS in Education. My training and classroom experience enabled me to gain understanding of curriculum and insights into the many learning styles of my students. I have tutored students in English, reading, mathematics, composition, social studies and science.
Teaching Style
My passion is teaching. I believe that all children can learn and they learn best when they can see a connection between the subject matter, their own passion and their future. As a teacher, it is my job to help my students to "connect the dots". I am available to help your child meet their goals and experience the joy of learning and academic success. My goal is to provide each student with the best education possible. I utilize diagnostic and discovery teaching strategies. I strive to inspire my students, help them to realize their maximum potential and become life-long learners.
