My name is Rene'. Here is a little bit about myself: Recognized for Efficiency in Learning, Work Well with All People, Most Friendly, Understanding of Confidentiality and Dependability, Teach Effectively, Teach Energetically, Education: Troy University, Mathematics (2008), and 2 years in Classroom. I taught the following courses Algebra I, Algebra I-B, Geometry, Geometry A, Calculus, 7th Grade Math, and Study Skills.
Teaching Style
I love "ah-ha" moments - moments when a student's brain "clicks" - moments when the student understands what operation we are trying to master. I enjoy bringing out the very best in all students. While working with students, I assess their strengths and weaknesses. Many times in math, a student will have a misconception of an operation or have no concept of an operation, I will give "real-life" examples, and a student will have an "ah-ha" moment. Students' are most productive in a positive learning environment. I am excited to help students feel smart!
