Teaching Style
I enjoy teaching and working with young people. I feel it is important to get to know students so that content material can be built on their interests and prior knowledge. I believe my job is to facilitate learning by asking thought provoking questions that lead to students learning through discovery. I am patient and creative. I realize students vary in how they learn and I strive to accommodate student learning preferences. I believe it is important to monitor progress in order to build confidence and to motivate students.
