Experience Summary
I have a Master of Arts degree in Education and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management. I have been an online adjunct professor and have numerous years of face-to-face training experience for Microsoft, Inc. I am experienced in classroom training, online training and one-on-one teaching. I have extensive experience with students who speak English as a second language, conducting weeks of training in India and Asia.
I have delivered training on all Microsoft applications, English speaking skills, technical document writing, and customer service and business skills. I have taught classes in Ethics, Business, Management, English and MS applications.
I have a passion for teaching and would love to tutor your child!
Teaching Style
I don’t have one specific teaching style that I apply to all students. I adapt my style to the student’s learning style. I believe in positive reinforcement; not negative feedback. I believe that all students can learn; they just need the necessary tools. They need to have a belief in themselves and a desire to work hard, and they can be successful.
I believe in helping students understand how the material can be applied to their everyday lives and how they will benefit by obtaining this knowledge. I believe real-world examples help students understand the importance of what they are learning. I do not necessarily share my opinions on a specific subject; rather, I share the facts and help the student form their own opinions.
