Experience Summary
As a school age counselor, I organized a variety of engaging activities for age appropriate learning, physical activities, and team building. I also incorporated games and activities that encouraged children to be cognitive, analytical, and mathematical thinkers. Furthermore, I have worked with a diverse of children of all ages as well as helped them with their homework. In addition, when I was a teacher assistant at Central Falls High School, I worked with ESL students with their reading comprehension skills, writing skills, rhetoric skills, and class projects. I also assisted ESL students in finding internships and helped them develop a professional resume as well as a cover letters.
Teaching Style
I have worked with children of all ages from infancy to high school. I love being part of a child's cognitive development and helping them through their that process. I am compassionate, patient, kind, and understanding person, which I believe us very important traits for working with children. I personally believe that every child has their own way of learning wether it through play, or a song, or step by step, or watching, which is why I have no problem teaching in different ways to help out the child.
