Experience Summary
In the Fall of 2008, I made a decision to pursue my long desired passion to become a Professional Educator. For the past three school years, I have worked with students at all grade levels from Kindnergarden to Senior Level High School. I have considerable real world experience that I can bring to students, along with a broad range of academic disciplines from which I can provide effective instruction. I have worked in a half dozen Inland Empire School Districts gaining experience working with students from very diverse backgrounds. I have also worked for three school years with Middle school students currently at risk for retention.
Teaching Style
My goal as an Educator is to be flexible to the varied needs of all students that I come in contact with. I am a very polished public speaker, and look to utilize that skill to help students comprehend information that I present to them. I have a great degree of patience, and look for situations where students are struggling will be more interested in learning when working with me. I truly believe finding ways to make young people enjoy learning while creating productive learning habits is critical to success, and reaching true academic potential. To that end, I like to convey that learning is a destination built over a lifetime, not merely a series of grades, tests, and endless assignments.
