Experience Summary
I have earned two degrees, a Bachelor of Education in Economics and a Master's degree in Business Administration. This enabled me gain a very firm understanding in many areas of math and business management. In addition, I attended classes in Math at Cosumnes and American River Colleges before being authorized to teach math by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
I have lots of experience as a teacher, having taught as a sustitute teacher in Folsom Cordova, Elk Grove, and San Juan School Districts for over nine years.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and working with chilren. I believe all children can learn, but each in different ways. I am available to help your child find academic success. I am patient, easy going, and considerate. My goal is to provide the best education possible. I am a firm believer in teaching through discovery and in providing a constructivist approach to learning. I believe all children can meet their potential if they are given the appropriate surroundings and learning experiences. A few good educators can make a world of difference in a child's education. I strive to make a difference in all my students' lives.
