Experience Summary
As a Lehigh University graduate, I was very much driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education. I earned a BS degree in Computer Science and have worked as a software engineer and tutor. Some of my mathematical skills include algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, probability & statics, discreet math, and differential equations. I am an excellent computer programmer, have a good understanding of physics, and I learned to write well through numerous writing intensive courses. My turoring experience comes from the volunteer work that I did at CareerLink where I tutored GED students. I also tutored friends while I was at Lehigh University.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and working with students. My teaching style most closely aligns with the demonstrator style. I show my students how to properly do a task or work through a problem and then I'll help them master the task or problem solution. It's important that my students can independently solve similar problems by using and adapting demonstrated methods. My teaching is performed with patience, persistence, and compassion. I am very easy going.
