Experience Summary
I am currently the Math Coach at a local Middle School. I have been in the educational field for thirteen years as a math teacher. I have taught mathematics on the high school level and the middle school level. I have prepared students for the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT) and I have had great sucess helping students achieve passing scores on this test. I have tutored students in basic math up to algebra 1 and geometry.
Teaching Style
I am a teacher that teaches by showing examples and explaining. I encourage my students to ask questions and I don't mind going over a problem again and again until a student gets the full understanding of what is being asked. I want my students to feel comfortable enough to ask me questions, because that is how they learn.
