Teaching Style
I aim at fostering critical thinking among students. In sharp contrast to the lecture method where answers are fed mechanically, I give students questions to which they have to find answers through a process of reasoning. Students are trained to inquire, probe, and seek more questions in the answers they receive.
With this method, concepts and ideas can be analyzed, and assumptions can be questioned. Students are forced to think about the implications and consequences of their actions and thoughts.
