Experience Summary
I currently hold a BA in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration. In previous positions interpersonal, written and verbal communication, diversity, and professional skills have strengthen and will continue to do so; but nothing compared to enriching another’s life by way of education. As a parent, I understand the importance of resolving issues, expanding confidence, promoting individualism, and security within a family unit. I have been substitute teaching for the past 7 years while pursuing ways to broaden my levels of education. It is my goal to incorporate the advantages of book learning with day to day living. I believe we all want and strive to be fully functioning components in a world of many choices.
Teaching Style
I find it most rewarding and helpful to get to know the student and parents. This provides the assistance needed to develop the proper rapport and educational needs of the student ensuring parents stay involved. Interaction is a required form of instruction for any student so to understand and establish the roles of teacher and student. I truly believe that the confidence displayed while teaching will evidently be welcomed with receiving minds. One act of assurance can open a wide door of possibilities and recognized achievements. Making a difference is accepting we are all alike in different ways and education is universal survival. I want to help and wanting better is the first step to better.
