Experience Summary
In 2009, I graduated from San Jose State University with a BA in German and a minor in linguistics. Long before receiving my bachelor's degree, I instructed classes for foreign learners and tutored individual students of English. Over the years, I have also had the opportunity to gather experience in the areas of translation, proof-reading, and interpretation.
Teaching Style
It is important for students to become familiar and feel comfortable with the material they are working with. I challenge students to step back and view things from different angles. In working together with them to find solutions and obtain good results from their efforts, their confidence grows and they better learn how to achieve their goals on their own.
