Experience Summary
As a graduate, I was very much driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education. I have earned my Bachelors Degree, BS in Literature with three minors ESL K-12 and Bilingual Education K-6 grade. My educational background has enable me to to adapt to different levels of teaching and has given me the opportunity to learn and adapt to student needs. I have been a teacher from K-12th grade. In Puerto Rico I worked as an ESL and English Instructor. I was a became a certified teacher in the April 2001 and certified as an English Teacher in the same month.
Teaching Style
I love the art of teaching. I can teach in many different waysm I love cooperative teaching and facilitating students and let them feel and analyze he topic is at hand(silent learning). I can be a visual teacher, auditory, kinistetic depending on the students needs and what needs to be demonstrated so the student can understand and not memorize what is being taught. All students can learn some at a faster pace and some may need more time. At the present moment I teach a Transition class which is the advanced level of ESL just before continuing to The GED program and these students are in different levels in this class situation I use cooperative approach and peer teaching.
