Experience Summary
I have been a Mainstream Coach for the past 8 years as my daughter was entering middle/high school and I wanted to be on a school schedule for her. I have been teaching Special Needs students, modifying the curriculum and assisting with their transition into the mainstream. I have been involved in the Homework Club after school for 2 years, tutoring students in need of support with home work.
Teaching Style
Consistent and clear expectations. I am strict, but not overly so, and encourage as much problem solving as possible while asking questions that prod the student into creative search for answers as independently as possible.
