Experience Summary
I have worked with high school students as a substitute teacher as well as tutor. I've worked in home with students mostly for ACT preparation but I had some that needed assistance with school subjects. I tutored in Math, Science, English, Reading and Writing to increase the students' confidence levels. Through my administrative work, I have excelled in my computer skills as well as oral and written communication.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is generally laid back, but I am very adaptable to the student's style of learning. I am a good listener and will discuss the student's needs prior to beginning, as I understand you must meet their need and come up with a mutual agreement to have desired outcomes. I believe there is greatest in everyone one of us but we display it differently. I would like to be the person to pull the potential out of one person and that is making a difference.
