Experience Summary
I earned two Associate's degree while playing volleyball for my college and I maintained a 3.5 GPA. I was captain of my team. I can lead without dictating and I am a good listener. I have tutored a wide range of people, ranging from high school students to nurses. I will earn my BS in Biology this year from Fresno State. I am passionate about the field of biology and am involved in undergraduate research at the university.
Teaching Style
My teaching style can be best summarized as relatable. With regard to tutoring biology, I use analogies, diagrams, and plain english (as opposed to field jargon) to help students understand. I am patient and greatly enjoy that "Eureka!" moment when a student begins to grasp basic concepts.
