Experience Summary
Elementary and Secondary Teacher for 27 years, in various subject areas. The last ten years, I was teaching Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra II. Experience in basic skills and developed a class in Consumer Mathematics along with other colleagues.
Teaching Style
I have taught students using individualized, regular classroom and group setting. My last several years, I taught CPM, developed at UC, Davis; using problem-solving techniques in groups and basic computation skills in Algebra. I believe it is important for students to receive the basic fundamentals and move on from there with each of the skill levels in mathematics.
