Teaching Style
I'm a very patient, open minded and outgoing person. My uplifting spirit is energizing and contagious. I have a can do attitude and can work through tough barriers to help students learn, understand, and comprehend the material. I understand the courses are layered in a way that concepts build upon one another. Once students grasp the foundation, they can use that as strength toward a better understanding. I follow a simple strategy of tell, show, let do, observe, report. Where I explain the concepts and help with comprehension, show the steps and examples, let the student try the entire problem while I observe opportunities and areas of improvement, and report to the student their successes as well as our next steps.
